Heutiger Opener ist die ungarische dark/metal Band Subcortic

Subcortic is a 4 piece dark/metal band from Hungary. 
The band  started by Attila Gyory (guitar) and Daniel Horvath (vocals) in early 2016. Fueled by a mutual interest in 90’s metal and influenced by some dark music, the two began working on original material at their home studios. Meanwhile the lineup became complete with the arrival of Adam Kulcsar (drums), Gergely Olah (guitars) and Laszlo Toth (bass). It became clear right away they had something worthwhile so during 2017 they worked on pre-production for their debut album. As a result, 13 songs were recorded at Nortyx Studio, Hungary.  The full length album entitled 'Addicted To Darkness' and released at Nail Records in May, 2019. Unfortunately, the band were faced with the challenge of replacing members several times. Right after the recordig sessions they enlisted Zoltan Borzas (guitars) and Mate Madacs (bass). Beside that, since their first live show in 2017 at a local club in their home town, Szekesfehervar/Hungary the band is active on the hungarian live scene. They also had gigs in the neighbouring countries and  shared the stage with lots of bands. Beside making small gigs they also invited to hungarian festivals, this lead them to the FEZEN Festival, one of the biggest open air festival in Hungary, among others. In the summer of 2021 the band started to work on pre-production for their second album.
